“Made in America” is primarily a family band from Greene Co. Pa. Formerly the band was called “The Wells” named after the band’s founders Robyn and Allen Wells. Together Robyn and Allen have more than 30 years experience in the music industry. Having received radio play in several states with their more than 11CD’s, various television appearances, opening for big acts such as David Allen Coe, Hank Williams III, Squire Parsons, Dale Watson, and the list goes on. Robyn and Rachel toured extensively from 1997–2001 as a “Christian Music Duo” which landed a recording contract for Robyn with the Eddie Crook Agency which she turned down due to illness and family issues. Robyn married Allen Wells in 2005 and then joined by her son Shane (on bass guitar) they formed “The Wells” band. The Wells have enjoyed success in various venues and remains a favorite band at the “Sagebrush Roundup” in Fairmont WV. In 2010 Shane switched instruments to drums so in April of 2011 the band added new member John “Buzzy” Walters on bass guitar but, due to scheduling difficulties Buzzy was replaced by Chuck Swope of Spraggs PA in June of 2011. With this new addition the band made some changes which included a new name “Made in America”. Together this group is a dynamic blend of experienced musicians, delivering a professional show with a large variety of music and strong family harmonies. They are sure to delight audiences young and old.
